A Zombie Apocalypse

Last week Kate and I were walking in the woods exploring and having a great time together. We suddenly heard an ear-splitting siren go off through the town informing us that there was a Zombie Apocalypse happening at this very time. Then a sudden fog appeared throughout the dark woods, so we couldn’t see our path and didn’t know the way home.We were stuck in the woods.Suddenly we heard the noise of leaves crunching as the Zombies slowly walked across them groaning. We tried to run but soon got lost in the darkness so we knew we had to try to fight back.We had to outsmart the zombies to defeat them. Our plan was to lead the group of zombies to a nearby skunk that we noticed right before the siren went off and the skunk would spray all the zombies until they ran off.We followed through with the plan and it worked flawlessly. Finally we were safe and away from the zombies and saw some lights in the town which we used to guide us back home! What a crazy, spooky day Kate and I had! 😉 😉 😉

My Journey West

When I traveled Westward the journey was difficult but once I arrived it was better. Some obstacles I faced were diseases, stampedes of cattle and all kinds of different hardships.I actually had an adventurous time once I got to the destination, but as a pioneer it was still pretty rough trying to survive.I had to build myself a log cabin for shelter, and with the Northwest Territory becoming a boomtown there wasn’t many supplies for me just lying around so I had to get them myself.I had to find and make food to survive as well, but the main reason I moved West was because of the gold discovered in California which was called the California Gold Rush and that event increased my want to move West even more.

My Roll-A-Story

One night just as the sun was setting,Aniah was walking in the woods and suddenly there wasn’t a sun to be setting just blackness. She had almost reached her grandmother’s house ,when out of the silence and darkness came out an ear-splitting shriek. That was the last anyone ever heard of that young,7 year old, innocent girl that could never be hated by anyone.Come to find out,a zombie got a hold of her.The sight of the scene is too gruesome to even think about.Even though it is a disgusting sight I had to investigate the scene because of my curiousity. As I sprinted to the area,it happened. I was captured and unconscious. When I awoke I was in a room with strobe lights of red, black, and purple colors. Suddenly I realized I was in a zombie apocalypse with no way out.I also noticed that the head zombie was the same zombie that got Aniah.I wondered if she was in another room in the building. There was no time to think about that right now.The zombies kept getting closer. Finally I got them away by drenching the zombies with the potion I had brought just in case I had an encounter with a zombie. I knew they were out in the woods lurking in the shadows so I brought it,thankfully. To my surprise the doors all unlocked after the zombies were dead. After I got out, I followed through the plan and went to investigate the scene, but first I had to check and see if Aniah was in that building. Then someone yelled “Get up it’s time for school, don’t wanna be late.” It was my mom. Yep, it was all a really realistic dream!                                                                      HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! (:

9-11 Reflections

photo credit heavy/news/2013/09/9-11-anniversary-photos-pictures/                 My reflection on 911 that I found important is that people of our country need to remember that a lot of brave, heroic people laid their life down for others. One of those heroic people could have stopped your family member from dying  so always remember to praise them for all they do. Some firefighters are still dying today because of all the smoke fumes what if that were your son or dad ,mom or daughter. They were running in while you were running out! Our country is an amazing place, yet sometimes there are cruel people that want to destroy it. Even though this tragedy happened almost 16 years ago we shall never forget the bombing on the day September 11th, 2001! There were some people who made the decision to jump out the windows to get away from the fire. Imagine having to almost force yourself to jump out of a 1,362 foot building. All the people who chose to jump from such a tall building did die sadly. I hate that there were so many attacks on our country all in just one day. Not only were the twin towers bombed but the pentagon as well, the family members of these people were probably so devastated over this. That is my reflection over 911 what’s yours???  🙁 🙁 🙁

Life in 5th Grade

In 5th grade I feel much older, and I feel like I have more choices and options I can choose from than I did last year because the teachers trust us more in 5th grade. Also in 5th grade I love having so many teachers because classes are over in the blink of an eye. So far I’m LOVING 5th grade and all my teachers are GREAT! I’m already a student ambassador for my class and we haven’t even been to school for a full month I literally have no complaints about my classes this year!I’m looking forward to all the cool experiments in Mr. McBride’s class. I’m also looking forward to learning all the 50 capitals in America in U.S. history with Mrs. McFall so I can amaze all my family.I’m also ready to learn my math facts so I can know the decimals and dividing and everything else in 5th grade math, to do that I will need some help from Mrs.Ummel and Mrs.Brantley. Oh and I almost forgot to mention doing reading with Mrs. Owens I love reading and writing even though we don’t do a lot of writing in 5th grade I still love doing it! I think that covers about all of what it’s like in 5th grade and all that I’m looking forward to! IT’S GOING TO BE A GREAT 5th GRADE YEAR FOR ME I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT YEAR AS WELL! 🙂 🙂 🙂
